Salt Crystal Pendant and Dangle Earring Set

These Pink Salt Crystal Pendant and Earrings are quite the challenge to design and make. First we design the shape, then it goes into the colored salt crystal bath for several hours. When we take it out of the salt crystal bath, the crystals have attached to our form however they cling to one another, just like stalactites. It needs to dry completely, before we can do any embellishing and finish the piece.

The Pendant has a Swarovski gold crystal bell as well as glass beads in various shades of gold and purple/pink glitter beads attach with a gold wire spiral on a 25" gold chain with a lobster clasp. The salt crystals are brushed with gold leaf. The Salt Crystal is 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide and weighs 2 5/8 oz.

The earrings have glass beads in various shades of gold and purple/pink glitter beads attached with a gold wire spiral on gold studs. The salt crystals are brushed with gold leaf. The earrings weigh 1 3/4 oz. and are 3" long and 1 1/2" wide.
